On July 13, motorcycle lovers and enthusiasts across the globe marked International Jawa Yezdi Day — and here in Kolkata, we did it the best way we know how: with throttle, friendship, and a hearty breakfast ride.
Organized by Team Jawa & Yezdi (Bindubala Trading Pvt. Ltd.), the ride brought together a spirited group of riders to celebrate the legacy of two of India’s most iconic motorcycle brands — Jawa and Yezdi.
Our journey kicked off early in the morning from the Jawa Yezdi showroom in Baguihati. The team gathered with a sense of excitement and pride, dressed in riding gear and fueled by a shared passion for motorcycling history. The engines roared to life, and we hit the road with smiles on our faces and the wind at our backs.
The route was scenic and refreshing, with perfect weather to complement our enthusiasm. The total ride covered around 65 kilometers (both ways) — a light but memorable journey with great company and beautiful roads. We cruised through smooth stretches, capturing the essence of what makes riding a Jawa or Yezdi so special: the perfect blend of vintage soul and modern spirit.
Our destination — Tandoor Garden Café — welcomed us with warm hospitality and a serene setting. Riders relaxed, clicked photographs, and shared stories from the road. Over sandwiches, parathas, and steaming cups of chai, bonds were formed and memories made. The laughter, energy, and camaraderie among the team made it more than just a ride — it was a celebration of brotherhood.
